Description
Each seedbomb box (containing 3-5 bombs depending on their size at time of boxing) will cover approximately 4 square feet. With the perfect mix of annuals and perennials you can expect this coverage to increase with years to come. The perennials will not die at the end of the season, they will self-seed and then germinate on their own year after year. Seedbombs are packaged by volume and with the natural nature of this product number per box can vary – there will usually be between 3 – 5 seedbombs per box – but the number of wildflower seeds and coverage will be the same.
Notes to promote growth:
Sometimes Irish weather does not help the garden so a little help may be required.
The soil area should be kept weed and grass free so the wildflower seedling roots can spread out through the soil reaching deeply for water reserves.
It takes time and the right conditions for wildflower seed germination results but when that magic moment arrives growth is fast.
To help germinate your seeds bombs you can soak them in water for a few hours until they change to a darker shade.
Place them onto soil that is free from grass and weed growth, press into the soil so they are level with the soil. This helps to secure the seed bombs and they can send roots down into the earth and create strong plants.
Keep the soil watered in dry weather and remove any grass and weed growth that will drink up water and take up soil space that wildflower seedlings need for growth results.
